It says a few housewifes are protesting about "World Naked Bike Day" which is happening not more than 15mins drive away on March 10 . But realistically it's virtually one huge advertisement/promotion for the event.

If i can build up the courage i might take my crappy digital and go for a looksy.

Sal32, If you do, here are some tips (if you want to be assured of getting good pics)

1) Get to know the route. Travel it in advance and make note of all the places where the riders might stop. (including pit stops). Decide where it would be best to photograph from. Consider everything: parking, sun angle, crowds, how fast the bikers are going, traffic. Any logistical problems you might encounter getting around.

2) shoot in continuous mode if you have it. Shoot large pics you can crop later. Don't get stranded on the wrong side of the street w/respects to sun angle.

3) Photograph either the pre-ride or post-ride area, or both if possible. Pre-ride and post-ride pics are always the best. Catch the bodypainting session. Sometimes, there will be rest breaks (potty and otherwise) on route you can hit too.

4) Try to photograph the bikers from the front or 3/4 front. Side views are not as good.

5) good luck!
