The cyclists role in the Solstice Parade was short this year because they were not allowed to loop around as in the past and thereby give photographers more time to take pictures. Poor management by the Fremont Arts Council which runs the parade led to a long delay in getting started. This resulted in more time for photographers to shoot the cyclists as they waited.
