Yeah, it's definitely a place worth visiting, but I also have mixed feelings about T.E. I have been there once, and it was just an incredible experience. The place is massive, and there are tons of things to try out. My favourite is the indoor/outdoor pool where you can drink weissbier under the stars.
We were there on a Saturday and the place was packed. Maybe a bit too packed - it was like a never-ending stream of naked Germans. I don't think I've ever seen so many naked people in one day, and I've been countless times in different German / Dutch saunas. It was obviously an amazing sight, but somehow I felt that too much is too much.
I can't really keep up when there are so many naked people all around me. I don't know how others see it, but personally I can't remember much of what I saw there, because there were simply too many people. It's like when I see the 135th fully shaved woman of the day, I don't really pay that much attention anymore, because I've seen more than enough already. I mean of course I enjoyed the sights, but it's just gets a bit repetitive after a while. What I also didn't like was the fact that if I saw someone cool, there was a good chance I wouldn't run into her again, because the place is so massive.
Still - definitely worth going and you can easily spend the whole day there. I do like big spas, but this one was was a bit too much for me. I had great time there and I'm sure you'll have too. My favourite German place is the one close to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. It's big, but not too big.
