In this advert I remember from about 2000, it was a spoof of the UK TV show Castaway 2000, when reality TV as we know it was in it's infancy. The basic jist in this ad is that the castaways have received a washing machine so that they can wash their only clothes in it. As they watch their clothes dry on the washing line outside, the wind changes - as does their expression - and they are left running despairingly after their disappearing clothes. The Persil marker at the end is not so good at covering up the actress' blushes. (Warning: Also contains male nudity  ) |

One of the best adverts ever made. After I saw it for the first time, back when I was a teenager, I was desperate to see it again, and in those days things didn't just end up on the internet immediately, so I had to record vast quantities of TV on VHS in the hope that the advert came back on again. After a few agonising days, it did, and I recorded it - but sadly, it was during a TV show I was watching with my parents, and was immediately followed by the famous Freeserve nudists advert:
