The Event Was Actually Good
Much more low key than some years in the past.
Downside for the Park, there were way fewer people who came. I think the temperature and possible threat of rain kept a big crowd away, but with no big crowds, it was much easier to get some pictures without someones cellphone in front of your lens.
Saturday was super hot and most of the girls went straight for the pool after they got off stage. Some didnt. Some posed after getting out of the pool. The last few years NOBODY posed on Saturday, so this was an improvement.
Saturday nights light show was very good. Everyone upped their game incredibly from 2 years ago. There was also a good crowd to cheer them on too.
I think security got bored. Not enough people to chase away from the narrow fence spot. Not enough crazies to break up amateur posing.
I missed some of my usual friends. One had a good medical excuse, but I think others had views similar to the posters here- Why go if it seems to be dying. Or maybe they just dont like that much heat.
I enjoyed myself. I had a good time. I'll post some pics when I have more time to do it.
