About two months ago, I dropped off my brother at AX at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I had never before seen anything like it, and everyone called it LineCon, because it was taking 6 hours to get in. I found him and wondered if a friend had given him cuts. But no, he had simply interposed his body into the line and took the spot as though he was supposed to be there. (He selectively chose the right M/F couple who he believed would not complain, and he chose rightly, as they only smiled at us when I joined him. Once he was established in his new place in the line, he let me off the hook, and I walked back to the Metro station at 7th and Fig.

Damn that's crazy. Hobbies are one thing and I guess if lines were that bad at a football game I'd wait but I can't imagine ever giving money to pose with a cosplayer even if they're hot
