This has already been asked before.

If I found a flash drive in the street and it contained pics of a total stranger, I may even post them.

However, I would never repost any pics of anyone I know, because the risks invoved are far too great. I think about it this way: if I found pics of some girl I know on the Internet, and reposted them, she could discover them and start causing problems. Under current revenge porn laws, there would the the possibility that I would have to prove in court that I had no malicious intent in reposting them. Here in the UK, this type of offence makes up almost 20% of the cases considered by the prosecutors (source: BBC news). So, in the best case it would be a huge hassle, and I may end up losing my job anyway.

If instead I got the pics by snooping in someone's phone or her email account left open, the risks of posting them would be even greater (in the UK, up to 14 years in prison and tougher parole conditions if convicted), so I wouldn't even think about posting.

And yes, I have found a few pics of people I know on the Internet, but never reposted them.
For those curious, they are a single topless shot of one of my wife's long-time friends, two pics of a girl I studied with taking a facial, a pic of another girl I studied with flashing her boobs, an unaware upskirt pic taken at a bar of a girl who worked at one of my previous workplaces, and various pics of 3 different girls I met at work, blowing their boyfriend, taking a facial, or shaving their pussy. And I am sure of their identities for many reasons, including body marks or recognizing the furniture in their houses. But I will never repost them, because of what I wrote before.
