Hey figured I would type out some stuff since I have noticed the site doesn't really like me doing much quickly due to being a new member so figured I would just update here and there. I was thinking of typing out my first session, but wanted to wait till we had more so I can write up a few without having to wait too long between them, but I figured I would update the general idea of each session here and then write up a story chapter on my wordpress which I will link soonish.

So the first session was pretty smooth.

We started off with our main new ruleset of nudity mattering, and the clothing damage being important. It was a pretty different type of add-on so we were going to take things slowly and see as the problems arise.

The other thing we set up was that we didn't want every session to be lots and lots of only combat. There are other things in DnD so we wanted to try other approaches. So the idea for our campaign was pretty much to have each session or two be a different style of game.

The first one for example was a heist in which our starting characters were hired for. It basically went something like this.

Our party met up at a tavern. It was in a small town about a few days journey from the big city. There we met an older gentleman who was notably of elven descent. We also didn't know the other people in the group and our DM who was always very big on keeping secrets from each other (player's must be willing to hide secrets about their backstories and stuff) to serve the plot (as he believes it makes for a better game). So the situation was basically like character building was done with the DM 1-on-1 and we would keep any really personal info of our characters a secret.

No the story opens up in this tavern with the four of us around a table. We each know very little other than what he describes so we have.

A woman in long black robes with a tall witch-like hat who is human with a noticeably buxom chest and long red hair, (She will be called Claire and is played by the girl).

Another woman who is an Elf, she is wearing a lot of red and has the look of a bard (think old-school colourful outfit) though not the personality of one. She is slim with shortish blonde hair and markings on her cheeks (She will be called Ruby and is played by a dude friend).

Then there is a dude in holy robes and is clearly an older man. He has long blonde hair, blue eyes and a goatee type deal, but seems quite antsy to be there, (he will be called Hector and is played by another dude).

Lastly there is my character Yuri (though not her real name), who is described as an Eastern human with long black hair tied up, yellow slimming clothes that bare her midriff and sandals. She also is quite slender with muscles that make her look toned by feminine. She is also quite pretty (high charisma).

It is stated by the Elf that from now on we will all be working together in hopes of helping each other. When asked what he means, the guys states that we all have a secret we wish to save ourselves from. He didn't say what, but I assumed that meant each character had some dark secrets. He said he would give us missions and that if we help him find some things he would help save us from our curses.

We had questions, but the important parts were basically

What do we need to do? His answer: Do these missions that I set for you and when we had found some of the stuff I am looking for I will help you.

How do you know what is wrong with us? His answer: I have many resources.

What happens if we leave? His answer: I will not make you stay, but should you leave your curses will never be lifted.

That kind of stuff we spoke about. So after some debate we got a briefing for our first mission. It was quite simple. We would steal an item from a local aristocrat and bring it back to the Elf dude who we will call Franklin. The way we would do it was basically to get one of the girl PC's dressed up to flirt with and distract him whilst the others would sneak into his room and steal the stuff. This would be handled during a party and so each of us had a role, one would sneak into his room and locate the thing, two would hang around and make sure random people don't catch onto anything (effectively make the party go smoothly), and the last one would take the dude away and make sure he can't contact his workers should anything go wrong.

We decided the roles by using what we were best at and it kind of went like this

Claire is on maid duty (Keep the party running),
Hector is too
Ruby is on sneak duty
I am on distract duty (as my charisma is highest)

The party was going to be excited
