In the early 70s my friend married a girl he knew since high school.
He was mid 20s and home from several tours in VietNam, she was a few years younger. She was in my High school so I knew her enough to know that she wasn't the prettiest of the class, but she was what Bernie liked . When they got married she was working in a very large photo processing plant. They did all the work for the local drug stores plus a lot of mailin work.

Burnie and I would sit around drinking beer and telling war stories and occasionally he would pull out his photo albums from VietNam. They included a lot of pictures of the local girls and hookers. I asked how he got them developed and he said he had mailed the film home to his gonna be wife and she developed it at work.
Then he pulled out stacks of pictures of naked women. It seems the wife printed extras of all the juicey stuff that customers sent in and brought them home to Bernie !

Now all the printers are on automatic and the pics only get a few spot checks so I bet 99% never get noticed.

I take a lot of pics of stuff like Fantasyfest, Mardi Gras and Nudes-a-Poppin. Several years ago I befriended a young guy that was working the photo desk at a local drug store. They do them in store and get frequent spot checks to insure the quality. I asked about the co. policy regards nude photos. He said they never worry about anything they see except hardcore sex or underage kids in the pics. I don't print a lot anymore, but if I do it's usually 8 x 10 or larger so I still try to insure he is the one working , because I'd hate to cause some granny clerk to stroke out printing naked women.
