Comic Relief is a charity appeal done by the BBC, so normally BBC radio presenters take part- in this case I assume there was a nudity angle. Its not that they are "forced" rather its assumed that they will join in the spirit of the charity event as part of their job.
I remember reading an article by a journalist from newcastle who was obliged to take part in a Spencer Tunick shoot as part of getting the job (or so she claims.)
