Up to the time of writing I've had over the 33 years where I've been sexually active with 24 partners ( and counting still....) . Two of those partners had stopped ovulating either menopausal reasons or as a result of a hysterectomy. 9 out of 22 I've had liaisons with whilst they were doing "lady business"
I've not deliberately sought out ladies in this state and yet around 40% of my partners I've had period sex with.
As such I really don't think such an act is that off the wall or tasteless, it is something that is natural but often kept very private.

Period sex has been with
L2,H5, short relations of less than 3 sessions
M14 13 years of marriage
A16, D17 Both mature relationships of several months
J18 6 years together
N20, R22, R24 mature relationships of several months

9 out 22 (40%) so it's not an obscure, tasteless subject, but rather a main stream that we don't talk about often.


As I've got older, I've experienced more period sex. This could be that the relationships have become longer and so the chances of encountering a period are much higher than the numerous one night stands I hand in my younger years. Years I might add where women were more likely to want to impress and avoid the “red week”

As we mature, we* deal with the mess better, and it's less of a problem that's no longer thought of as taboo. Do we say that "it is part of life", we work with it and just get on. Basically we just like sex far more than we dislike the mess and hassle that it creates?.
