I never surfed at Black's, but I was also a frequent visitor in my late teens and 20s and agree that it was the anticipation and reveal that made the experience so much more than just seeing naked babes. I used to love looking at women on the path down from the cliff, wondering what they would look like naked, thinking about which item of clothing they might remove first. It was just so damn sexy!
Alas, that was another time and place, and I no longer get to enjoy that experience, but for a period in my life, it was magnificent.
