[Pedro the Fisherman]

We stopped after two thirds of the journey home at a nice looking pub. I looked at my watch and thought that they would have finished the ‘doctors and nurses’ exercise, wondering who got a detailed look at the witch's ‘ bits and pieces, down there’ as M had put it. At about now, they would be forming a foursome.

I was feeling melancholic over not being able to soap those large firm breasts and doing my quick ‘soapy hand reversal’ trick in the shower. I sighed and told myself I might have been with another partner, Hannah's little ‘teenage bod' popped into my imagination, so I concentrated on choosing from the menu!

M returned to the table, having (again!) visited the ladies room. “I have to give you this" she said handing a small square of paper. I was meant to do it when we got home, but I'm intrigued to know what it is...so open it now!”

The paper had been folded into a form of envelope, it was kept together by a blob of wax. “ the witch?” I said, my heart rate increased, for reasons I can't explain. “That's what she did last night..she found out we were leaving, when I went up to get my case, so asked if I could pass it to you, after we got home".

“oh shit, it's not a spell to turn me into a frog or something?” I only half joked. “perhaps” she grinned, now it's your turn to go outside your comfort zone!

I gulped and broke the seal. The paper opened out to reveal a set of numbers. “it's just a load of numbers" I said handing her the paper. “idiot!” she replied, “you haven't folded down the last bit!” She unfolded the paper again, read it and handed it back to me.

Under the numbers were four words ‘we need to talk' followed by a little cartoon smiley face, shaped like a heart. I suppose I looked confused, because M almost shouted “ that’s her bloody mobile phone number, you idiot! I told you she fancied you!”. “but I hate women with tattoos” I mumbled. “did you tell her that?” said M. “looks like you need to think long and hard about this".

I almost said, “ that is what I was doing, just before you visited last night" but that came to me much later!
