When the last stragglers arrived, the facilitators started to tell us about ‘Stage 2’ of the process, the last 90 minutes had just been in preparation for what was about to happen! I'll tell you about what we were told and then report on how my own experiences took place after.

“You are to make a bed out of the mats, one of your number will lay on this mat face down. The three remaining members will then create a ‘shower of love’ for the laying member. Collectively, you will whisper positive words into their ears, about their wonderful bodies, personality or what you have heard them talk about in previous sessions. Nothing negative is allowed! This will then be followed by full body stroking (remember to ask about boundaries first) and something new...’butterfly kisses'! These are the sort of thing you might do to the head of a new baby, the lightest of kisses just brushing the skin of the recipient. Start at the head (whispering first) and work down the body to the feet. Then, gently roll the recipient onto their back and come back up to the head, via the whole body. If done properly, this should take 10 minutes per person, we'll give you timing guidance, so we can all be at one in this. If anybody does not want to participate, please raise your hand now.

I looked about, no hand appeared and it was then obvious that HAI had worked it's magic, finally. Both the young hippy girl and the Slovenian girl were now fully nude, only Nick my erstwhile roommate was still in his underpants! Who's first said Sian, it should be someone different this time, looking straight at me! She looked at Sue and said reverse order?” Sue looked a little scared and said “let Alan go first". I won't bother to describe the next 10 minutes and will return to my story soon, when it was Sian's turn to undergo the ‘shower of love!’
