A friend is a painter, and for years, she had a semi-nude portrait hanging in one of the rooms of her house. It was pretty realistic; certainly not abstract. She said it was her sister, who looks a lot like her, and that was pretty hot, but one night, at a party, her mother referred to it as "Sadie's self-portrait." (Not her real name.) The next time I was over at her house, she had painted herself a bra.
