It was the same way back at Black's Beach in the 70's and 80's - and the 'ambassadors/security team' didn't limit their harassment to folks with cameras. Pretty much any single man without an established all over tan that set-up their towels anywhere near groups containing women or near individual women would be stared at, maybe talked to. And any single woman or small group of females only would be warned about the 'predators'. The funny thing was that I knew several girls that went down there and they thought that the biggest assholes were the established old guys that would come squat near them to talk as the girls laid on their towels. The old guys invited them to parties and to join the bigger groups - but generally just hung around them until the girls either gave up and joined them, moved away, or left altogether. Nude beach 'do-gooders' are a pain in the ass.
