My first rule has always been that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is, and if something doesn't look quite right, it probably isn't.
Lighting, shadows, and proportions. This goes along with the things not looking quite right. If someone's head is bigger and brighter than her body, it's a fake.
Common sense. If you see a picture of a bottomless girl at a crowded public swimming pool where everyone else is clothed and no one is looking at her, it's a fake.
Then there's profiling. Yes, I profile. There are a few members here who post more fakes than everyone else combined. I don't know whether it's by design or ignorance, but I tend to look more carefully at their posts than others. These are the ones who will be winning one week vacations soon for regularly violation Rule 18 (DO NOT post or request photoshop / edited fake photos.)
