Congratulations, this is by far the earliest in the year anyone has ever posted this chronic complaint. If anything, this is the first time we've ever had more than 2 Southern Hemisphere rides worth paying any attention to. The SF rides are about the only Northern Hemisphere rides that have taken place yet. In 2017, London and Brighton had an average year (it's no fair if you always compare to 2014), Philly's was great, Portland's was as good as ever, even if the number of photos ("only" a few hundred) was almost as frustrating as ever. Bristol's turnout was so fantastic it could be mentioned in the same breath as the greats. You could almost say the same for Manchester. As we've discussed, the number of photos posted to OCC is down from it's peak because a number of Flickr photogs have asked not to have their stuff posted here, and a couple original contributors have stopped posting here. But other than a couple individual shrinking WNBRs like Seattle and Madison, I haven't seen much reason to believe things are slowing down. In a few important places (Portland and the smaller UK rides), they're picking up.

If we get to the end of June and we had a down year in the UK, Portland, and Chicago, this might make sense, but I don't really understand how you can even be thinking that way at the end of April, when not a single one of the historically-great WNBRs has happened yet.
