I'm going to guess it's because you realize that if everyone who viewed a post commented on it, we'd have nothing but "thank you" posts and no real content. Lots of people got all riled up at zooper because he posted 80 thank you posts. Maybe he was being a post wh*r*, but maybe he was making up for lost time, and trying to be supportive. I note that he's still making thank you posts (just not 80 in one day...

).
Thank yous are nice. I enjoy them when I get them. But I don't get bent out of shape if no one replies. Maybe what I posted sucked. Maybe 20 other people posted new threads and mine got buried. Maybe by the time someone downloaded what I posted and viewed it, they forgot from whence it came (happens to me all the time with the movies). Maybe I'm all jazzed up about something that no one else is (here's an example:
https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/showthread.php?t=25542).
Whatever! It's not like we should take any of this personally. Except for the very few who actually post pics they took themselves, the rest of us are scavengers. Why should I get upset if no one liked what I
found enough to comment on it?
If you're looking for some affirmation in your life, recite this mantra from Stuart Smalley: “I’m good enough. I’m smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me!” Don't look for it from a bunch of people looking at dirty pics and flics collected from the internet.
Now if you wanna rant, rant about those people who have never started a thread, never uploaded anything, and do nothing but make requests. Those are the ones that piss me off.
