Many have changed thoughts / opinions over the years about a wife / GF being exposed to others. Always found the idea very hot, but it took me years to overcome a conservative upbringing and let things happen, and encourage more fun.
Wouldn't mention the "signs" of visitors outside - unless you are concerned for safety, which always comes first. Then again, your wife may really like the idea of others seeing her naked.
