They appear to be done with a GoPro or some other very small, ultra-wide angle camera, and you can tell he's putting most of his efforts into his fantastic DSLR shots (you hear the shutter going off almost constantly). With that said, though, they're good quality, good length videos shot from great locations, and that's a great thing to see during the long winter lull.

For anyone just joining us , his photos are at flickr.com/photos/funkdooby/tags/wnbr. His 2014 shots on the beach at Brighton, in particular, are legendary. If I remember correctly, he's asked people not to repost his Flickr photos anywhere, and I would assume the same would apply to his videos.
I decided to use a GoPro (Hero 2, an older one with quite poor image quality) after seeing a guy snapping at a BMX event with an action cam mounted on his DSLR hot shoe.

Main problem with snapping and shooting video at the same time is the instinct to lower the camera after taking shots. And the constant rattle of the shutter. And the fact that every time you go for the second camera (if you're using two), you just get random footage of the floor and such. The waterproof housing also shuts out most sound from more than a short way off.

I had no intention of ever uploading any of the video footage but someone I know watched a couple of clips and liked the fly-on-the-wall experience of what it's like to actually be there taking pics in the midst of the madness. So I put some of it online. Next time round I intend to mount the video camera on a cap. I don't think it would be possible to shoot decent stills and video simultaneously but there's no harm in having a go

I have no problem with anyone reposting my snaps (or vids), either here or anywhere else. I just stopped uploading material here myself after getting grief from one or two sources. But then I got grief for just posting on here, even without pictures And yet the people moaning could only have known I post on here if they were here themselves
