I agree. I try to find new stuff (or new to me) every day, or make something new of the old stuff, like collages. I'm amazed though, that when I think I have something unique, I surf around the site and find those new pics in multiple threads. I have even found my collages in other threads. I think as a mod you have an advantage because you look at everything here...and also, you being you...you're here practically 24/7. I think some of the 30/50 post a day guys are probably obsessed with Thank Yous, number of views and page numbers in their threads. One very prolific poster admitted that to me. The stats bring out the competitive nature of some guys. OCC might have created this problem by allowing statistics to be such a big deal. I gotta say, I'm pretty happy now doing my primary posting in the album section where those prolific posters aren't trying to post junk all over my threads. My guess is that they were seeing the threads that had a lot of views and thank yous so they latched on to get their numbers up. Another issue is that amateur porn is changing. Women are getting fed up with having their intimate lives made public without their permission. A member recently repeatedly contacted me, trying to get me to collage his girlfriend. I finally found out she is totally unaware he's doing this. I wanted nothing to do with that. Guys are getting a jolly thrill "sharing" pictures without permission, never fully understanding that they're messing with another human being's privacy and reputation. More awareness of those guys is making women reluctant to pose in the first place. Are there any answers? Less emphasis on stats, maybe. Is there a software that recognizes reposts? "Hire" about ten more mods to go through threads and weed out the reposts? Place limits on posts allowed? Hope that guys will self police and post willing and enthusiastic women only? Just a few unlikely to happen in my lifetime suggestions. No ideas are flawless. Sorry to fill up your thread with a rant, Seal...but your words above touch on some things administration might want to address. I want it known you aren't the only guy who believes we've lost something at OCC. Many long time members have invested considerable time here to help make this an enjoyable place. We don't want to see that enjoyment go away.
