My experience is with the Fremont Solstice Parade in Seattle and the Portland WNBR.
Something I've observed with both is a high percentage of gay and lesbian riders. I think that, along with the general crunchy-granola vibe of the Pacific Northwest, leads to many women who sport a natural look.
