Do not recall ever seeing any braless women at work back then [was at a bank so go figure...], though did see a few walking on the sidewalks during lunch, or when traveled to LA or SF where life was definitely different than on the east coast.
Did see many women wearing thin / sheer blouses and semi sheer bras, as bras were at most just a few layers of fabric and not the damn foam reinforced things so common these days. One young well endowed secretary always wore sheer tops and sheer bras and she loved the attention of the men in her department, dating several of them.
One day was late for work and was rushing to cross the street to enter my building when a very attractive woman in a translucent white blouse caught my eye. I must have not been very subtle about it [stopping in my tracks in traffic] as later that morning the head of my department made a comment about me "admiring her superstructure." I was flabergasted and speachless that a) someone had noticed, b) that it was my boss' boss who noticed, and c) that an "old guy" like that would even think about women... I was a young kid and could not imagine anyone my parents age being interested anymore... Fortunately it turned out to be a good shared experience that changed the dynamic with my boss's boss.
