What was her reaction to finding the suit see through? Does not seem like it bothered her much if at all that day!

Does she have a similar suit now? If not - you should get her one or maybe several!! Some guys have cut out the lining of their wives' suits. Never understood how a woman would not notice that and go ballistic over "ruining" one of the suits but hey, if it works...
