Sounds like you are talking about something a little like the pic below.
A great idea. Since Maren started off in that "direction", it seems like a great next step.
Perhaps taking a little evening stroll, and unzipping the jacket when there's no one around. The advantage is that you can choose how far you unzip; and a passer-by would not necessarily be able to make out that the top is see-through.
When you reach an isolated area you can unzip completely and feel topless...without actually being topless.
Or you could go back to the department store and try on some shirt/jackets with the see-through top already on.
So many possibilities!
