I know it's been 4 years since this page has seen any activity, so my apologies if we're not allowed to bump old threads here. I want to point something out for those not in the know; the first 45 episodes have been subbed in English and are available on Crunchyroll. However, it's been almost a year since more episodes were added, so I'm assuming that it didn't get enough attention to warrant subbing the rest of the series. If more episodes are going to be subbed, then I assume they'll be on Crunchyroll sometime during January, which is when the previous batch added this year.
With that said, I'm a huge fan of Miss Machiko. So much so that I not only bought the entire series on DVD (this was before Crunchyroll added more episodes after a 6 month dry spell), but most of the manga, an animation cel, and a vinyl single with the show's theme song as well. I want to check out the live action movies too, but it's kinda hard to do that when there are a whopping 9 of them (including one that's merely a compilation of footage from the other films)! If any of you guys are curious about the show, give it a watch! The experience is even better if you like older anime as I do.Episodes 1, 5, 13, 18, 21, 23, 32, 42, 43, and 47 are the ones I enjoyed the most.
