Here are the other options I considered and rejected in favour of the easiest solution, which took about 10 seconds:
1) Temporarily close the thread and go through 29 pages of posts and deleting each off-topic photo, as I interpreted it, which should have been reported as being off-topic by responsible members in the first place. This would probably have taken me at least two hours, if not more, depending on how many I found.
2) Delete the thread completely and you could start over. This would take me about 5 seconds.
Now, if you can think of something different that will satisfy your needs, please do tell, but you first might want to actually contribute something more than a comment or two to the thread. As I see it, you haven't posted one single photo here.
