"sl*t" is a bit antiquated, she just likes sex. It can be a hot term to use in sexual chat with a woman, but calling her a sl*t and meaning sounds judgemental.
So no, you shouldn't care. If it helps though, I think the threshold seems to be anything more than five or six lon term boyfriends!
