Default A little info I found

Great shots FT, thanks for your hard work!

I wanted to share a little piece of information that might be of help or give peace of mind: I read this article on local Catalonian newspaper 'El Periodico', about Voyeurs in Barcelona and their rights. It is more focused on alarming the bathers that they can't do much if they spot someone snaping pics of them. I enclose link to the article, but its only in Spanish/Catalan.

In short: It's absolutely LEGAL to snap pictures of topless or nude women (or men) at the beaches, since they're open public places. Nobody is forcing anything on nobody. If someone calls the cops (aka Guardia Ubrana) they can't do anything to the photographer, its actually even complicated for them to go through his camera and even harder to go through his phone, without a warrant. So if busted, you could calmly say to the cops 'You can't do shit and you know it" as quoted at the end of the article.

Exceptions to this: If the photographer is taking pictures of underage the last does not apply and he could get busted. And Also, if the pictures he's taken are distributed online or elsewere, he could get in trouble but only if the pictured subject sues him. And that's tricky too!

So there. I guess you can feel more calm while doing your great work knowing you're doing nothing ilegal!

Here's the article (Spa): elperiodico.com/es/noticias/sociedad/mirones-aprovechan-impunidad-legal-para-robar-imagenes-desnudos-playas-barcelona-5333863

Good luck and keep up the good work everybody!
