Yes, cell phone pics suck. But they're also more covert than schlepping out a big assed camera with a telephoto lense. I have a moderate sized digital camera with a large lense and good zoom. Once in a while I find a discreet place near a beach and sneak a few bikini shots. I'm usually some distance from the women... always using my telephoto. I never want to upset anyone or make them uncomfortable. They're mostly there to just enjoy a day in the sun. However, there are many pics where I realize I was spotted. A dude sitting on a bench with a cell phone could just be texting his wife...but a guy with a camera is usually considered a creep. I love women. I want to enjoy their beauty... and being photo addicted, I want to preserve it. I also want those women to be comfortable and enjoy their day. Maybe there are others who feel that way too. Things change. Usually for good reasons. Cell phones are the thing. My eyesight is bad too. I wish all pics could be sharply detailed. We can lament it all we want. We can also just be happy there are pics at all.
