Most shooters don't care to reveal their secrets for a variety of reasons, but I think FT tells us everything we need to know to make a logical deduction in post #2 on this thread:

Posting some more from today, these are all frame grabs as I don't shoot with a camera anymore for candids as its just too risky for me now days. The quality isn't as good but I'd rather not be in jail

From this statement, we might deduce he is using the *video* mode on a *smartphone*.
In case you've never been to Majorca (or Barcelona), women basically take off their tops as casually as men do. I suppose it might have changed since the last time I was there (due to the Muslim immigrant problems), but I saw more bare tits in the first 5 minutes on Barcelona beach than I did spending 5 days shooting Mardi Gras with a backpack full of beads (in the days before hurricane Katrina ruined Mardi Gras). Majorca is equally good, if not better.
So, we've got our top end smartphone in hand (the cameras on the iPhone 7, Galaxy 8, Google Pixel etc are exceptional), it's a bright sunny day, and we are walking down the beach, phone in hand, our earbuds in, our mirrored shades on, pretending to be minding our own business & grooving to our tunes. In reality, we are checking out the babes from behind our mirrored shades, and our phone is in video record mode, with the screen brightness dimmed so people walking by don't see what we are recording. We are "shooting from the hip" (literally & figuratively)... we don't know *exactly* what we are recording, but we are not too worried, for the following reasons:
1) Our smartphone camera has a pretty wide angle lens, so we have a lot of leeway.
2) We are walking slowly, and gently moving the phone so as to definitely get coverage of our target babe
3) It's a bright sunny day, the phone's camera shutter speed is very high, so there is almost no motion blur on each frame of our video. Screen captures will be excellent under these conditions.
4) The sensor is tiny, and if our phone has an adjustable aperture, it's stopped down, under these conditions depth of field is almost infinite, so focus is not a problem in most cases.
5) If we really need to raise the camera higher and / or see what we are shooting, we can pretend to be texting, or looking for a new song, which gives us the freedom to shoot very precisely from chest level for short periods of time.
6) We might even be so lucky as to have a phone with a 4K camera, in which case we can do a HUGE amount of cropping of the captured image, and still have a pretty good sized image to post on OCC.
Sound possible? That's how I'd do it these days... you are not quite going to get ILoveTheBeach quality, but it's going to be up there, depending on which phone you are willing to throw down your hard earned cash for.
@ F4ther T3d... I'd just like to say GREAT work & thanks for sharing!!!
