Thanks for the post. Your quote struck a nerve though and I'm compelled to comment. Glasses mean a person has imperfect vision. They don't make someone a "nerd." Glasses don't make someone book smart and they aren't a sign of physical weakness. I see that word used all over OCC. We really need to get over it, both here and in American culture. Look at that woman's body...she could kick half of our asses. Nerd? I think not. Yes, she's cute...no "but" needed. Her butt is just fine...and she also happens to be wearing glasses.
