Quite a few people over the past year have reposted my snaps from Flickr to their own accounts. No idea why they do it, especially when they resize or otherwise mess with original and lower the overall quality. Thus far I've never requested anyone remove repostings as all my images are CC and can be used by others - the only stipulation of this license is that the reposter gives a credit, not something I care about, TBH. Lots of mine have ended up on Nuderide - nearly always looking like they were taken with a point and shoot camera by a Parkinson's sufferer.
I do find it odd when people complain about pics ending up on here, especially when in many cases their shots are clearly show more than just a documentary interest in certain riders. You have to realistic - whatever your personal motivation for covering these rides, a lot of guys (and girls) will enjoy looking at the people taking part because they're naked. I have no issue with people reposting my snaps here, they are perfectly free to do so under the terms of the Creative Commons license.
Hiding pictures away, uploading them at a stupidly small size, covering them in watermarks etc is IMHO a pointless waste of time. If you don't want anyone sharing your stuff, don't put it online.
I did notice that most of the very prolific uploaders are clearly gay males with an obvious sexual interest in men, and this is reflected by the fact that they take endless samey pics of cocks and hairy buttocks etc. Each to their own but these fellas never seem to get lumped into the perv category by those connected with the rides. By which I mean the Brighton ride, the only one where there is this ludicrous perv paranoia, which is aimed pretty much entirely at straight dressed men with DSLRs.
