You are naked in a public place taking part in an event which uses nudity as the main selling point to attract publicity...what the fuck do you think is going to happen? Yes, lots of photographers turn up and take pictures of you. The nature of the event means that often, asking permission isn't possible or desirable.
I seem to recall seeing some very attractive young ladies here and there - I would go so far as to see it was a bumper year for people interested in that kind of thing

I have to agree the stewards this year were far to aggressive and rude.
I was approached by one while standing near the lanes in Brighton waiting for the ride to come by, I was asked why I was going to take pictures and was accused of being a pornographer, I was later warned once again that I must ask permission to take pics of individuals, even though at the time I was standing talking to my friend and was not even taking any pictures.
