I was thinking exactly the same, but think the trend will be seen nationally- those who'll be delighted by the election result are the core demographic for the WNBR, ie left-leaning liberals, youngsters and students. It's a shot in the arm for the tories and Brexit, which I feared would stifle the mood and numbers, and could hardly have come at a better moment! I could imagine very well that it could be a very surprising year indeed with a good number of spontaneous decisions to ride. Manchester and Edinburgh FB numbers particularly shot up overnight and both are in halfway decent weather.
Here's to a much needed boost to 2017!
