Is it normal to have a smoke alarm and lights electrically fitted just like you'd find in any normal house.?

and why would you go to great lengths to camouflage everything inside including the floor..?

dunno how the army operates, so unless anyone has any answers, my call is it's a photo shoot, and that last girl with the brown top is posing like a true model would for a magazine.
Actually, these are real. They were taken at in the barracks at Camp Shelby in Mississippi while they were getting ready to go to Iraq.

They are in the barracks at camp Shelby in Mississippi. The poncho liner was there as a background to hide the cinder block walls, bunks and lockers and themselves if an outside door was opened. They were there for pre deployment training before going to Iraq. This happened back around 2006 or 2007, not too long before I got there. These pics were being passed around like a joint.
