Quick theory about that-- at least in the U.S., many (probably
most) black women tend to be the "Holy Roller" types...and this "condition" unfortunately intensifies with age... they'll have their "wild years" as young women like most...but unfortunately that seems to be a phase... once they're anywhere from 30 or so on up to 40s and 50s...they are in that church multiple times each week for the rest of their lives, sadly.....all serious about the bible and "the Lord" and all that jazz....ending up like the classic "old church lady" stereotype, wearing a fancy/gaudy hat every Sunday. They have a habit of "settling down"
too much in this aspect of life.
