If you think about it though, Webshots babes aren't really "amateurs" at all. An amateur is someone that does something that the pros do, only for free. In this case that something is model (generally naked) for the camera. But Webshots babes (at least the naked ones) aren't usually modeling at all - they're either just posing briefly on the spur of the moment or are in the way of the camera. Since no pros do this (you'd have to sneak up on a babe, snap her pic and then hand her money), they cannot be "ams"!
Come to think of it, there are guys walking around Florida with cams in one hand and a wad of bills in the other...
But the term "amateur" is generally associated with a profession, although it is not always stated outright. A word like "plumber", "baseball player" or "model". If Webshots babes are "amateurs", then what is that other word? Not "model" because they are not modeling. Just because they are not getting paid does not make them amateurs!
