The quality of these clips is not that great. With the low light after sunset and the cars going past rather quickly it can be hard to keep the camera pointing in the right direction. It also makes it hard for the autofocus.
Oh and about the codec. Well I don't really know much about this. What I can tell you is that I used Nero 7 to make all the clips if that helps.
