The software is called Digital Picture Recovery from DTI Data (www.dtidata.com I think) but it requires a card reader in the computer. Nothing that I know of can recover pictures through the camera interface. The software costs about $40 if I remember right. So total investment will be about $60.

It is possible to recover pictures even after taking more pictures, as long as you didn't fill the camera up with new pix. The more full it gets, the less chance to recover anything old.

I know this because I loaned my digital camera to a girl at work for 6-8 months, periodically downloading the pix for her. During the times that she had a boyfriend, I also used the above software to see what had been deleted. I about went into cardiac arrest when I found this one! For her protection and mine, I dcecided I needed to blank out the face ... sorry.

Let me tell ya though, no greater feeling in the world than working with someone who showed you everything, however unintentionally
