I've got a real 1st world problem-
Recently I've been having long load times when I view a thread. Individual images load normally, but if I go back to the thread it has difficulty loading one particular element: "jab_play-button-overlay.png". This one png hangs the page for 20+ seconds every time and ends in failure. In comparison the rest of the page is loaded in <1600ms. For instance if I click on a thumbnail below and then use back to return to this post it will happen.
I don't notice anything missing, it's just that it causes the page to snap back to it's initial position when the browser gives up on that graphic. Which makes looking through long thread pages annoying as when I've grown impatient and scrolled down the page suddenly jumps back to where ever the link I originally clicked on was when it gives up.
I might not notice on a slower connection but 20 sec is an eternity compared to 1-2 sec load times I have been spoiled by.
Google Chrome Ver 55.0.2883.87 m on Win 10. 100mbps+ connection. Also happens on Firefox though.
This is what Chrome says about the page, I know very little about how web pages function other than that it seems that single png file is the source of the delay. As far as I know there is nothing on my end that would cause this.
Anything else I can do to help, just let me know. It's a pretty inconsequential issue now that I've written it all out but it's having an impact on my porn consumption and that is a sacrifice I'd rather not make!
