Second story.
This actually happened at the same get-together, but much later, as my ex as that point was a seasoned social nudist. She was always nude at nudist functions, and very social and friendly.
This time was a pretty slow day; a lot less people than the first time. We were just chatting and lounging around. Suddenly, this guy shows up with his wife. That would have been a non-event had his wife not had a horrified look on her face. They went inside, he came out nude, she was fully dressed in shorts and T-shirt.
As the husband walked around and mingled; while the wife went and sat in a corner looking away. The husband was questioned: it turned out that this was his wife's first time at a nudist venue; she didn't want to go, but he promised it was a clothing-optional event and she wouldn't be the only person dressed. Well...whereas it was technically a clothing-optional event, everyone there was completely naked! And the wife was pretty angry about it.
As the day went on the wife was still sitting by herself, evidently hating every minute of it. My wife felt a little bad for her, so she approached her. At first her facial expression was like: "why is this completely naked woman talking to me?" but then she seemed to soften up. My wife invited her to come sit with her; and she relented. As they talked the woman explained the situation to my wife, and they started talking about nudism. I was standing around a little further, and I saw the woman looking up and down at my wife, who wasn't hiding anything. At one point I caught her looking at my penis, which I understood was just natural curiosity. After all she'd never been around publicly naked people.
I'm not exactly sure what was said as I was standing away; but I suddenly saw the two women get up and get inside the house. They came out a moment later; the woman had changed into a borrowed sarong! They went back to their spot and just continued chatting. The woman looked much more comfortable. I finally joined them and the woman seemed ok with me being nude in front of her.
Then suddenly the woman turned to my wife and told her she wanted to take off her sarong and be nude with her; but not in front of everyone! I got up and rounded up the guys, who were understanding and we all went to the other side of the backyard. I saw the woman toss off her sarong as she entered the hot tub with my wife.
Night started falling and it got dark. The women were in the hot tub just talking and laughing. As they exited the guys decided to get back to the other side of the backyard. And as we walked around I saw the woman chatting with my wife and other women behind the hot tub; she was completely naked and laughing! On a side note she had a great body: nice round breasts, great physique...she gave my naked wife a run for her money! And my wife even told her so! I think she appreciate the positive feedback.
Her husband went to talk to her and came back, visibly shocked. He said he never thought in a million years that his wife would be openly naked in front of other people. I told him that nudity was contagious!
Just as it had happened for my own wife, my wife's open nudity "pulled the woman in." Being around her, seeing her naked and interacting with her: she got the "nudist bug." She started out not wanting anything to do with the nudity around her; she ended up wanting to be a part of it. I think it's funny my naked wife gave her that inspiration.
As they got ready to leave, the woman gave my wife a big great "naked boobs touching" hug. Instead of putting her shorts and T-shirt on, she asked to borrow the sarong, folded it and tied it around her waist. I guess she was going for a bareback ride home! She didn't seem to have any inhibitions about it either. Her husband looked at my wife like she was a magician or something! It wasn't magic, it was the "nudist bug!"
