Anecdotally beach nudism was originally much more widespread in France. French beachgoers - particularly from the south of France, started also going nude when vacationing in Spain. The Spanish Franco regime tried to shut it down; but at that point Spaniards had also started going nude at the beach. When the Franco Regime fell Spanish beach nudism grew exponentially, to the point where Spaniards became the majority of people at the nude beach.
When I went to Spain I was awestruck by the amount of nudity at beaches. They have truly made it their own; it's embedded in the culture now. I guess you have to thank the French for that. It might be their greatest import to Spain!

OK..I know all these pics are from a popular website. I got these pics from somewhere in web (without watermarks). I did ask them (website) the beach name of these pics but they refused to tell. They mentioned all these pics are captured secretly (not sure why they copyrighted the pics). I was under impression that these pics are Formentera beaches but don't see any cliffs in google earth.. just to clarify posted this question..
