Once upon a sunny day, way back in the 1940s, a certain Mr Land and his young daughter were strolling about and taking snapshots with a very ordinary Kodak type camera.

Said the daughter to Mr Land: "Why can't we see the pictures right away?"

Mr. Land's answer, some time in coming, was the Polaroid Land camera.

Some of its applications were obvious!
