So, carrying on, I'm reminded of another event which quite startled me even though I wasn't the subject or even directly involved.

My partner's daughter - she's a sexy young woman - is very direct and remarkably un-shy about things, something which the unprepared can find a little alarming at times.

To go back a bit, we've always been close and comfortable around each other and she's never felt any need to hide anything either physically or emotionally - and I think in a lot of ways, the latter in particular has made her a happier person for it.

Even at 25 - while still at home - she'd think nothing of walking around naked while getting ready to go out. Or - more amusingly - getting naked when she came in! She'd quite often arrive home quite noisily at 1 or 2am and it would take her a good ten minutes or so to get up the stairs - because she'd undress on the way - then sit naked on the end of our bed and tell us the stories of her night out - 2 or 3 times over!
