The day I was there, there was an Indian dude with a "press pass" (whatever that is...), and they were not only allowing him to photograph them as they were prepping - including the body painting portion - but he was also videotaping them the whole time. I have no idea what kind of "press" he was, but I never saw him interview anyone - so the material he got was with no commentary or editorial, from what I could tell. He was also shooting during the entire performance. And he absolutely was zooming in on their privates, while he was taping.

Of course they gave the standard, "we ask that there is no photography or videography during the performance" shpiel, but that didn't stop me. Hello, it's NY, it's a public park, and I'm completely within my rights to tape whatever I want. So yeah, I got some video - up until the point that some tackleberry chick came up and started arguing with me and making a scene, so the whole audience turned around to see what I was doing (which was moderately humiliating, which I think was the point of her ordeal). I was being discrete and completely within my rights, but of course we all know how that can turn out. I eventually stopped, but did stay to the end of the performance.
