I managed a couple of photo processing labs in my younger days. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff we developed but in most cases couldn't return to the customer due to censorship laws back in the 70s. I had a huge box full of withheld prints that we had to keep (couldn't return the prints but had to return their negatives), ended up losing it in a couple of moves back in the day---long before there was such a thing as the internet. Imagine the goodies I could have shared.
