Unless you picked a really dull and conservative bar, I think that any woman (except the most overweight and butt-ugly, which I am sure your wife is not) who is sexily dressed with a flirtatious manner would attract attention from single men.
If she just sat at the bar in a conservative outfit, and never looked around, she would of course be left alone.
