I have described how I living in the "Three's Company" type situation with two Malaysian Chinese women in Kuala Lumpur for two years from 1979 to 1981. They shared one bedroom and I had the other one.

One of them, I will call her, Alice, had had an boyfriend who had returned to Australia after his job in KL was over. They parted on friendly terms and he later invited her to come to Australia for a visit.

When Alice came back, she told us about her first experience on a nude beach. She asked her boyfriend to take her there, because she had always wanted to see one. She said that there were a lot of nude men, but not as many fully nude women, though a good number of them went topless.

When she and her boyfriend first arrived, they set up their blanket a short distance from anybody else. Her boyfriend quickly stripped off, but she just enjoyed people watching for a while, until she got her courage up to take off her top. She said she really enjoyed herself, occasionally walking up and down the beach to get a closer look at the couples. She had never been nude in public before. She stayed away from the solitary men as she didn't want to encourage their advances or stares. She said that if she had stayed in Australian longer, she might have eventually tried going fully nude at the beach.
